Please attend at least one event tomorrow for the first ever Provincial Wide Day of Action! I will be at all three in Calgary (Amery’s Office at noon, City Hall at 3 pm, and Riley Park at 5:30) with Allison, a fellow Nicolady! Find me at City Hall if you wish to wear a Handmaids’ Tale costume with me. Also, if you’d like to buy one off me after (for future rally use), they are $20 each. I will also be sporting a Nico-Ladies tee and can introduce you to Tobi if you’d like one!

I had a great conversation with Gil McGowan, in it we mention separatism isn’t the only problem. There is a broader MAGA agenda at play in Alberta and across Canada. Please tune in around 14:00 to learn more here:

The WaterNotCoal.ca Deadline is approaching!

Thank you to Corb Lund for taking the time to speak with me on Charlie Angus / The Resistance’s Meidas Canada. In this we address the misinformation at work in Alberta.

Also, Mayor Craig Snodgrass of High River and I spoke candidly about who is pushing the coal agenda, how it is a bad idea to even talk about it. That the moment the shovel hits the ground we’ve lost. These coal projects cannot proceed. I’ve heard Craig say he will stand in this project’s way if need be. That is what is at stake, let’s not let it go there!

Please sign and if you’ve signed text 10 friends to sign before EOD June 6th!

Help Shape the Future of Ghost-Kananaskis

The Government of Alberta is currently gathering public input on the Ghost-Kananaskis Sub-regional Plan, a land-use planning process that will guide future decisions for the Ghost and Kananaskis area west of Calgary. This region is part of Alberta’s Eastern Slopes and plays a vital role in protecting headwaters, biodiversity, recreation opportunities, and climate resilience. The provincial survey is open until June 5, 2026.

This matters because the decisions made through this process could influence how the landscape is managed for years to come, including how cumulative impacts from recreation, roads, forestry, grazing, tourism, and other land uses are addressed. Healthy headwaters are essential public infrastructure: they support clean drinking water, drought and flood resilience, wildlife habitat, and downstream communities. Calgary Climate Hub’s Headwaters Protection and Restoration Advocacy Campaign in partnership with Land Lovers Network’s Eastern Slopes Bioregional Organizing work show that community input can help turn shared values into clearer direction for long-term headwaters protection and restoration.

What you can do:

Take the provincial Ghost-Kananaskis survey before June 5, and use Land Lovers Network’s survey guide to help respond with strong, watershed-focused input. The guide is designed to help people speak up for clean water, ecological integrity, responsible recreation, and long-term protection of the Eastern Slopes.

I Gotta Have Faith, Faith, Faith!

Lastly, but certainly not least, I am crazy proud of this compilation conversation I had with four of the more than 200 faith leaders who were signatories of the opposition letter against the anti-human rights agenda of Christian Nationalists. An agenda that is clearly present in the Government of Alberta’s policies including: dismantling public healthcare, education, and environmental stewardship on the backs of our children, the innocent and at risk populations. Please watch and let me know what you learned!

Time to fight back while having some fun, see out there tomorrow!
